Nestle Plans To Release Caffeinated Water In 2020

A cup of water is incredibly refreshing especially when you’re thirsty but nothing quite compares to the jolt of energy a cup of coffee offers. Nestle is about to unveil a brand new product that is both refreshing and will provide that dose of energy we’ve all been seeking by creating caffeinated water!

It’s no secret that bottled water sales have been decreasing, probably because we’ve all been trying to reduce plastic but that isn’t stopping Nestle from trying to make the general public excited about water again!

Yumi Clevenger-Lee, the chief marketing officer of Nestle Waters North America said in an interview with CBNC: “Customers are telling us that they’re kind of in an energy crisis, that they need a boost and are looking for help with hydration but sometimes water doesn’t cut it,” she said. “They need that morning or afternoon burst of energy to keep them going, so this is really based on the idea of gentle caffeine.”

The new Nestle caffeinated water is said to hit the shelves sometime early 2020. Unlike other sports drinks, the new Nestle Pure Life Plus will come without sugar and artificial sweeteners. Finally, a drink that will both hydrate and energizes us!
